Christmas 2011

With mom and dad in Spokane we had Christmas at our house with just our family. Here are some pictures of Christmas morning.

Christmas Eve we went over to Kim's to play games. Mom and Dad went to Spokane this year to be with Kerry and her family for christmas. The kids get to open their christmas pajamas on christmas eve.

Remembering

Craig started a new tradition last year. We go to the cemetary where his parent are buried and light candles on Christmas Eve. Each of us get to light a candle.

Amanda's Birthday and Gingerbread Houses

Amanda is seven. With having a birthday right around Christmas Amanda's birthday usually gets lump with other Christmas activities. This night it was the making of graham cracker houses.

Luckily she is still at the age that she loves getting so many presents around Christmas.

Here is the final product for this year. Anna refused to be in the picture because her house didn't turn out how she wanted it.

Halloween

Halloween is not my favorite holiday. But I do like sitting on my porch with my friends handing out candy while the men take the kids trick or treating.

Competitive Soccer

It is time to do some catching up. It is amazing how fast time flies. Since Zach's Rec soccer team split up he decided that he was ready to try competitive soccer. So he tried out last May and made the team. It has been a challenge for him but he has enjoyed playing. He played in a couple of tournaments before the fall season started. His team took Second in the Bountiful tournament.

It has certainly been a much bigger commitment but in the end he loves playing the game and we love to watch him.
